Objective:To investigate the effects of
ginkgo flavone glycosidein on proliferation and
apoptosis of
human cytomegalovirus(HCMV)infected VEC304. Method:The cultured
HUVEC304 were divided randomly into four groups: control group,
ginkgo flavone glycoside group, HCMV group and ginkgo flavone
glycoside+HCMV group. The effect of ginkgo flavone glycoside on HCMV-induced proliferation and apoptosis of VEC304 was assayed by flow cytometry . We investigated the effect of ginkgo flavone glycoside on HCMV-induced proliferation and apoptosis of HUVEC304. Result:Infection of HCMV enhanced the cells from G_1 phase to S phase and G_2/M phase and decreased the apoptosis of HUVEC304. Ginkgo flavone glycoside inhibited cell from G_1 phase into S phase and G_2/M phase and enhanced apoptosis of HUVEC304 significantly. Conclusion: The excessive proliferation and inflammation of HUVEC caused by HCMV infection maybe the initiative factor of AS development. Ginkgo flavone glycosidein may have benificial effects on atherosclerosis .
