Objective To study the quality control method of Qutan mixtures and clinical application. Methods 1TLC method was made in doing the quality analysis of the BeiMuHua2 Quantity analysis of ammonium chloride was made with volumetric analysis 3Treatment with the using of Qu tan mixtures and ChuanBeiPiPaGao ointment was done in the patient having disease of cough with spit. Results 1 TLC method can meet the request for preparation analysis 2 Between 80 mg/ml～120 mg/ml ammonium chloride has a good linearity Y=0.370 2+0.701 8X r=0.999 9 3Treatment group includes 116 men and 48 women the average age was 34.8 34.8±10.8average disease process was 4.1years4.10±3.42.Control group is totally consist of 166 including 106 men 60 women. After one week's treatment the total effective in treatment group and control group was 96.7% and 65.0% respectively. Conclusion The prescription of preparation is rational and its quality is easy to control it is convinced to use it and its treatment is effective.
