Objective:To create and evaluate the cerebro -p ulmonary syndrome model following a -cute omni -cerebral ischemia in rats so as to lay a foundation for approach ing the pathogenesis and the prevention and treatment of cerebro -pulmonary syn drome following acute ischemic cerebrovascular sie ase.Methods:48rats were randomly divided into th e normal group,the pseudo -operation group,and the model group which consisted of 4subsections (1,3,6,12h after reperfusion).The method of blocking 4arteries wa s ap-plied to make cerebro -pulmonary syn drome model following acute omni -ce rebral is-chemia reperfusion,and the model wa s evaluated by respiratory rate,blo od gas analysis,numeration of leukocyt,weight of wa ter in the lung tissues,expression o f HSP 70in the brain tissues and pathomorphology o f the lung tissues.Results:It appeared that the ani-mal model had not only definite cereb ral ischemia but also severe pulmonary function lesion and definite change of pathom orphology of the lung tissues result ing from a series of inflammatory reactions in a short time.Conclusion:Acute cerebral ischemia reperfusio n in rats can successfully mimic the pathologic coures of cerebro -pulmonary syndrome model following acute cerebral isch emia.
