Objective To explor the proctective effect of
Sini Decoction (Sd) on cold
preservation.Methods 16 New Zealand rabbits were
devided into two groups . The rabbits in group B were fed SD at the dose of 5g/kg/day for three days before obtaining the hearts. Hearts donor in Group A were perfused and preservated with UW solution at 4℃ for 6 hours,and SD(10mL/L) was added into UW solution in group B. After that ,the hearts were reperfused with KHB solution in langendoff model at 37℃for 30 minutes.SD was added into KHB solution in group B.Results The indexes are measured. They were the time from the beginning of reperfusion to the recovery of stable heart beat rhythm,the heart rate in stable heart beats,the recoverable power of myocardial contraction in stable heart beats,the coronary sinus flow(CSF) of heart and the myocardial oxygen consumption (MVO_2) in reperfusion at 0,5,10,15 and 30 minutes,ATP,MDA and SOD content of myocardium before and at the end of reperfusion and the ultrastructure of left ventricle myocardium at the end of reperfusion. The measured indexes showed that there was significant difference between group B and group A (P<0.05).Conclusion SD has the protective effect on cold
preservation donor heart.
