Purpose: To study the effect of aerosol inhalation of Erycibe obtusifolia Injection (EOI) on respiratory tract and general immunity of rats Methods: Divided 20 male Wistar rats (weight200~250g) into two groups randomly For the test group, aerosol inhalation of EOI was given, while for the control group, aerosol inhalation of normal saline was given once a day, After 14 days of inhalation, all the rats were killed to detect the index of immunologic function. Results: The EOI can obviously increase the ratio of T lymphocytes in the respiratory tract (P<0 05) and the phagocytosis of AM (P<0 01) Moreover, it can obviously increase the number of T lymphocytes in the peripheral blood(P<0 01) and the percentage of rosettecells of spleen (P<0 05) The function of T lymphocytes secrete LF and the phagocytic function of PMN are also improved Conclusion: Aerosol inhalation of EOI can not only enhance the local immune of the respiratory tract, but also enhance the general immunity system
