Objective:To investigate the inhibitory activity and effective concentration of four drugs against the
proliferation of fibroblasts
of rabbit dermal in vitro .Method:Cultrred fibroblasts were exposed for 48 hours to a different concentration of daunomycin,doxorubicin,5-Fluorouracil and
dexamethason solution.The suppresion of the
proliferation of fibroblasts was investigated and the median lethal dose(ID 50 ) was caculated respectively. Results:Daunomycin and doxorubicin significantly suppressed the prolifreation of fibroblasts in vitro ,showing dose-dependent manner, dexamethason and 5-Fluorouracil demonstrated an inhibiting effect not as strong as the other two drugs. The inhibiting effect of combination of dexamexason with other three drugs was also evaluated, and it was found to be much better than in single use. Conclusion:Exposure of daunomycin and doxorubicin at certain concentration can effectively inhibit the proliferation of rabbit dermal fibroblast in vitro .Combination of dexamethason with other antimetabolites was thought to be of significant value possibly on treatment of PVR.
