Progressive Power Yoga is a unique style of yoga adapted by Mark Blanchard. This style contains smooth motions in a challenging
format that burns calories, sculpts muscles, and increases flexibility while relieving stress and creating a feeling of inner calm. Blanchard’s style of yoga is presented in three DVD volumes, each containing a different challenging one and a half hour work out. Volume Two of Progressive Power Yoga is perhaps the most challenging of the three workouts. I could truly see and feel how this workout could potentially burn 800 calories and I could feel my abs really getting an amazing workout. Moreover, some of the poses I didn’t even try to attempt, I simply sat watching Mark Blanchard and his class in complete amazement. One thing I noticed and really liked was the fact that members of the class had different abilities and didn’t seem to be competing with each other to get each pose perfectly. Like Blanchard says “It’s called Yoga practice”.
