We also say that, your death is a loss because once you die, the profit of your manpower, positive ideas, social contribution and many other things you name it, will never be enjoyed by your nation. Perhaps you haven’t realized how
precious you are; just because no one has ever said l love you, or because you have contested for different position and you ended being defeated. Most probably many men or women, who approaches you, do so for sex and not because of love, and that keeps shadowing your true value. Perhaps you didn’t get a
chance to study up to a college or University and that also keeps telling you, inside your heart that you are not as important as those who have gone to school. There could be a lot of voices, some whispering, while others speaking louder that, you are not important at all. But what I can see in you, when I look down in your heart (by extraordinary imagination) something tells me that, you are an extraordinary
person (you are unique) That ‘extraordinarity’ which God- the giver of
life has stored in you is enough reason for you to live, so as to accomplish something in this world. And that reason to live just for one or another purpose is a true evaluation of how precious you are. Nothing can be compared with your value. Just as any thing that is precious has value, you too have value, which is kept in terms of life. Just let one calculate and when s/he finish that, that will only be a fraction (perhaps less than quarter) of your value. That is a probable reason why it is not possible to buy a person like we buy cows. As now you have realized how precious you are, what actions will you take? Will you let people play with your life just because of luxuries and endanger your life? No! That will be so ridiculous. Your life is so precious than that. When one offers you those small ‘gifts’ for no other reason than sex, you need to give only one statement that, my life is worth than that. When you say yes to some one, it should be by one reason, which is love, the love that hails from your heart. One thing remains important to you. And that is, the right, and duty to make
decision regarding your life, remains to be yours. All people are eligible to give you advice, suggestions and opinions, but no one has a right over your personal decision. The decision of whom you love or whom you don’t love is something, which no one can intervene and your sole property. By saying so, I mean that when anything bad happens to you, you are to be the first person to bear the responsibility while others will end to bear the blame, if they gave you a bad advice. Just as precious and most useful metal, iron gets rust, so it’s our precious lives once it is exposed to HIV virus. The best way to resist this calamity now rests on individual
action rather than group action by the reason that without an individual action group action will be impossible. Just as the motion and the braking of a train being enhanced by an individual wheel rather than all, so is to HIV/AIDS. The victory or the loss against the battle against HIV/AIDS begins with you. When you protect your self from getting it, and those who have it when withhold/ refrain themselves from spreading it, there will be no place for HIV among us. its necessary for each person to know his/ her status, whether HIV free or HIV+ because this will be a good starting point for our campaign against HIV, and for it to take us fewer years to finish the job than we expected. As long as each one of us want to see that dream come true, has to take an initiative by having blood test for HIV status, as well as to be careful neither to catch nor to spread the disease once one is found positive. Saying No to unsafe sex therefore is your open chance to live forever i.e up to an old age!aa
