Much has been said about
preventive healthcare, so what''s new.
recently i was told about a firm offering preventive
healthcare at a throw away price, the price being Rs 1944/- for the entire family- and what you would get in return is health check up vouchers worth Rs 30,000/- and a gift voucher for Rs 6000/- for a resort stay for a couple of days.
well, in this world of conman and fraud and every other cheating it is hard to trust anyone. moreover what the person kept saying
that i should register immediately, and kept doubting as to why i would not take up such an offer.
i insisted that you send me the list of hospitals that you have tied up with, after studying it, i will decide. i am yet to receive it.
then the next thing i told them was to send their man to make me understand this better about offers et al.
to the effect that time was fixed for an executive to visit me on saturday, which never happened.
i got a call from someone again from their office insisting me to pay and register, which i refused and have asked their executive to come and see me.
what i am wondering about is - can you trust such calls and how much, and how gullible they take consumers to be,
how do they make their monies by giving such good offers for so low a price.
and is their any more vini vinc kind of frauds waiting to happen, and many past their prime may put their money into such preventive offers and prevent themselves from good health.
my advice, do not believe these do gooders unless you have seen them and set their credentials right.
see that when they come to meet you, they carry proper i cards and check the hospital list that they are linked with, call a couple of hospitals to find out if it is true check out the office address, contact nos. and after sales service.
