This is a paper that talks about the environmental hazards that are the risk factors affecting the human health. Florence
Nightingale''s contribution and writings about the environmental theory that has been really the focus in this paper and has been explained and elaborated that proper environment should be emphasized in all work settings in health care such as hospitals, clinics and etc  and also at home and surroundings. The nurses are considered to be one of the role models of cleanliness in the world and should practice a proper way of action regarding environment. Nursing action must be taken in order to reduce health risk hazards. This paper discusses the historical view of environment in health care work setting and proper waste management. The role of a nurse is health promotion and must promote a clean surroundings and proper disposal to have a cleaner and proper environment offered to the patient. This is also a topic where in the nurse protects her patients from a lot of hazards in the environment.
