Diabetes
There are about four crores of diabetic
patients in India. By 2025 the count of diabetic patients in India goes upto seven crores. According to the census of 1970 the percentage of diabetic patients in India was 2.1. Now it has increased to 15%. In the entire world India might become the first country possessing diabetic patients.
Out of five diabetic patients in the world one is from India. Taking the whole world into count the number of deaths occuring due to diabetes per year is 32 lakhs. One out of ten deaths occur to patients aged between thirtyfive years to sixtyfive years.
As reported by the experts there are diabetic patients aged 15 years in Madras(Chennai). Ther are 33 lakhs of diabetic patients in Delhi. According to a study conducted in Delhi by experts out of the 29% of patients
suffering from diabetes 80% of them did not know that they were suffering from diabetes.
Is diabetes a disease? There is no answer for this question.The human body cannot produce insulin properly. The glucose molecules present in the food cannot be properly absorbed by the blood. This results in the increase of glucose in the blood. This results in the beginning of diabetes.
The reason for all this lies in the lifestyle of people. In modern generation it is inherited in childhood and youth. The whole life becomes a problem in such cases.
According to the doctors anyone can get diabetes. It is more risky for people who inherit it.
