So how you do it? • Use stairs
instead of riding on the elevator or escalator. • Walk instead of driving. You'll burn more calories while getting in shape. • Even at the office while you're sitting. Try the tightening your buttocks, slowly rolling your neck, flexing your feet and ankles shrugging your shoulders, or stretching as high as you can. • Instead of spending your time looking for the closest parking space, rather park your car further away. Not only you do save gas, time, frustration, in finding a parking spot, but you also will use more energy walking. • Try doing something fun together with your family. Walk or ride bikes with your spouse or children. If you have grandchildren or children who are learning to ride a bicycle, jog alongside while they ride. • Carry your groceries to the car and load them yourself. You burn calories walking, and you use muscles lifting your groceries. • Stretch while standing in line. • When picking up, practice flexibility exercises. • When doing household chores, put a little extra effort into it. Vacuuming, scrubbing the floor, and washing windows are all excellent ways to get in some activity. Do some simple stretches before and after to prevent injuries. • Make a social time for fitness by playing tennis with a friend or walk with your friends around the block a couple of times while getting caught up on the news. The hardest part is to get started. Usually, the first few weeks are the most difficult and many people who start an exercise routine would quit. However, if you make it past those first few months, you most probably stay with your routine, and eventually you may discover that you love it and can't do without it.
