Just a little info what I've learned. Do you know that AIDS (Acquired Immunodeficiency syndrome) was first
identified in june 1981 by the the CDC or Center for
Disease Control and Prevention. It was first identified on
gay men in New York and California. It was first called gay-related immunodeficiency disease (GRID), but because it was also seen to other sexes the name for that illness became AIDS. The cause of this disease is the HIV
virus, it is said that the virus originated from the rural areas of Central Africa around 1930, and may have been present for many years in
isolated communities. The virus did not
spread because the people in the isolated communities had limited contact with people from other areas. But in the 1960s and 1970s, wars, drought, and famine had forced the people to migrate to cities and find jobs. During this time the incidence of sexually transmitted infections including HIV increased and spread quickly throughout Africa until it spread world wide.
