Research indicates small amounts of coffee throughout the day to remove the sleep.

If you want to be agreed, not even entornar three cups of coffee at the beginning of the night. According to a research director of the Center for Sleep Disorders Rush in Chicago, and scientists from Brigham and Womans Hospital, Harvard, it is much more effective to take several small cups in the course of the day.

In the study, some volunteers were locked for 29 days in rooms with no window, so they do not know what time it was. The mission of them was: Stay agreed during 29 consecutive hours.

The group that received a pill of caffeine per hour, accompanied by a dose with 120 ml of coffee, better supported the test. In another group, which received placebo, the results were well worse.

Researchers believe that caffeine stop the receipt of adenosine, a chemical substance that acts as messaging and regulating the impulse to sleep.

The study was published in the journal Sleep, of the Professional Sleep Societies Associated, in the United States.
