      THE IMPORTANCE OF DIET
         Food provides
raw materials from which your body is made and
         maintained.Good, fresh, wholesome, nourshing, unprocessed and
         generally natural foods produce healthy human beigns.The reverse
         is equally true. Too many processed,treated,preserved and junk
         foods create junk bodies.Almost all modern diseases, including
         many cancers and certain types of heart problems have been linked
         to bad eating habits.
         THE  '' DO''S AND ''DON''T''S  OF DIET
         THE ''DO''S
        ----------
        While following the importance of diet:
        Daily while sleeping in the night you should boil drinking water of
        one liter at 80 degree centigrades and the same water stored in a small
        copper pot after getting cooling in the night.
        you should drink the one liter water at early
        morning at 5-oo AM daily without mouth wash.After drinking one liter
        of water go for a short distance walking.After lapse of 3hours of time
        only you have to take break fast.
        Daily go for early morning walking of 4KM or playing one hour table tennis/volley
        ball or any game or practising Yoga,Pranayam( breathing exercises)
        and meditation.
       a) Eat plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables.If you can eat organic
          produce, even better. Include the (washed) skins of fruits and vegetables,
          since many of the nutrients are stored in them. take plenty of fresh,
          leafy vegetables such as spinach and cabbages. Onions and garlic are also
          very good. Try and eat a raw salad every day.
       b) Cook your food lightly and especially your vegetables, to avoid losing
          nutrients. Steaming or stir-frying is better than prolonged boiling
          or deep-frying.
       c) If you fry food, do so in unprocessed vegetable oils such as corn or
          sunflower oil. Do not use already boiled oil(once used).
       d) Include plenty of whole grains in your diet. these include whole meal
          bread and brown rice, which will provide you with fibre as well as
          essential nutrients.
      e) Substitute fish or poultry for red meats when you can,if you are
         non vegetarian.
      f) To prevent osteoport thief) adequate calcium and vitamin D
         intake are necessary to preserve healthy bones throughout your life.
         Good sources of calcium are dairy products such as milk,cheese,yoghurt,
         green leafy vegetables,nuts especially almonds and sea food like fish.
         Vitamin D may be obtained from eggs, liver,or by spending 15 minutes in
         the sun 2-3 times a week.
     g) A whole food vegetarian diet can be particularly healthy.
     h) Daily take three times one glass of more diluted butter milk which should contain
        very small quantity of ginger and garlic pieces.
     i) Daily eight hours of sleep in the night is essential.
            THE ''DON''T''S
            ------------
      a) Don''t eat too much salt or too much sugar.Consume salt only 2.5 grams per
         day.
      b) Don''t drink too much tea or coffee.
      c) Don''t eat too much refined carbohydrate, as in white rice, or refined
         flour, as in white bread. Choose the unrefined, whole food versions.
      d) Don''t eat too much animal fat,which is contained mainly red meats,fatty
         types of meats and certain dairy products.
      e) Don''t eat too many processed foods.
      f) Don''t eat foods that contain lots of additives.Read the packet to see
         which additives,preservatives and other chemicals are present.
      g) Don''t eat too much tamrine or high sour foods which develops acidity or
         hyperacidity in the stomach.
      h) Avoid permanently mangoe pickles or any other pickles, which is highly
         dangerous for health due to very high deposition of salt in the pickles.
