This refreshing gently-abrasive
scrub, rich in alpha-hydroxy acids and vitamin C, gives a boost to our spirits while it sloughs away the tired dead skin from last year and even diminishes the appearance of age spots.
You won't believe how easy this is: it only takes two common household ingredients, and the fragrance is so bright and mouth-watering, a lovely way to start the New Year with zest!
SIMPLE SOLUTION: Salt is one of the best antibacterial ingredients ever, and it is slightly abrasive. Lemon juice exfoliates as it cleans.
INGREDIENTS ¼ cup sea salt Enough lemon juice to make a paste
Combine ingredients in a bowl. Dab gently on your face with fingertips or a cotton ball, then massage into your skin, being careful to avoid your eyes. Rinse thoroughly with warm water.
HELPFUL HINTS: If you have very delicate or sensitive skin, omit the salt and use the lemon juice diluted half and half with water. Pat gently onto skin, then rinse thoroughly.
You can try these
recipes too:
Use baking soda to wash your face it makes it very soft. For cleaning use baking soda, and a slice of fresh lemon. For sensitive skins you could use crashed cucumber with a few drops of fresh lemon juice as facial mask.
A mixture of honey and lemom juice hidrate and
whiten your skin.
PS: If your skin starts itching or burning, rinse immediately.
Do not leave it on your skin longer than two minutes.
