Newer and newer medicnies are discovered for restoration of sick back to the health.Even with advancement of modern medicine we find that sickness cannot be cured because most of the disease which include diabetics ,cardiovscular disesases,hyper tension and even cancer are all results of life style.Our life style resulting in disease may include unhealthy food at home which we eat causes dibetics ,hypertensions etc,unnecessary compition in work area all these are believed to cause mental stress and finally diabetic and hypertensions etc.Indian traditon gives tip to healthy way of living.There by prevents the disease rather than treating the disease.Five important points in healthy way of living is (1)proper exercise (2)proper breathing (3)proper relaxation (4)proper diet ( 5) positive thinking.
(1)proper exercise-which may inculde yoga asanas.Yoga asanas consist of exercises which are co-ordinated with breathing.
(2)proper breathing: our towns ansd cities are poluted.we breath that pollutant and that itself causes unhealthiness.So proper breathing may include breathing exercise according to indian traditions which are called pranayamas which have to be done in open spaces ,under a tree etc where pollutants are less in amount.People can do pranyamas in their rooms which has free assess to open air. (3)proper relaxation: as business environment is highly compititive we are stressed especially in work environment.
So there must be ralxation and such relaxation must be proper.For this we have various relaxation teqinique.one such indian method is savsana which means lying down and relaxing our body part by part until whole body is relaxed.(4)proper diet:most of the food we eat today are itself unhealthy.So a proper diet is all required to maintain health.Vegetarian food is the best for the health.Fruits and vegitable which are semi cooked or raw should be the best food.How ever shuch foods when eaten may contain pesticides and /or insecticides so such fruits and vegitables should be kept in water for an hour or two before consumption especially when one is having raw.Every one must avoid food especially made from bakery such as cakes,pastries ,fast food etc.(5)positive thinking:every one should have a postive attitude to every thing.When faced with realities of life there is a tendency to have a negative attitudes.These negative attitudes must be controlled.Indians follow a tradition to remove such negative attitudes in life by process known as meditation.Meditation cannot be learnt by self it must be learnt from a teacher.Meditation describes a state of concentrated attention on some object of thought or awareness.
