AZOOSPERMIA- IMPROVING THE SPERM COUNT BY COMBINATION OF ANCIENT MEDICAL SYSTEM AYURVEDA AND /OR HOMOEOPATHY FOLLOWED
BY EFFECTIVE TREATMENT USING MODERN TECHNOLOGY  INTRACYTOPLASMIC SPERM INJECTION (ICSI) FOR CHILDLESS COUPLE WHERE THE MALE PARTNER IS SUFFERING FROM AZOOSPERMIA
Azoospermia is male medical malady in which there is absence of sperm in the ejaculate. Azoospermia can be classified into two Obstructive azoospermia. Here the sperm is normally produced but the result of obstruction in either the upper or lower male reproductive tract (epididymis, vas deferens, seminal vesicles or ejaculatory ducts). Non-obstructive azoospermia The function of the testicle is twofold.  Production of male hormones, and the other is Production of sperm.  Insufficiency of one or the other is frequently congenital, but in some situations can be acquired during one’s life.  If the system of the testicle, which produces hormones, is impaired, the hormones could be substituted by numerous preparations readily available. Some times system producing sperm is impaired. In a gross involvement both the production of hormone as well as absence of sperm in the ejaculates are both present at the same time. Treatment of obstructive azoospermia is either removal of obstruction, which is probably by surgery. The treatment of non -obstructive azoospermia by modern medicine alone is impossible especially when hormone is also affected. In such cases a combination of treatment is necessary in which ayurveda or homoeopathic medicines can be given for a small period to improve the sperm count until a good active motile sperm of at least 3 to 10 is found. With such good sperm count of three or four can be subjected to Intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI). Only contraindication of such a combined treatment is presence of some congenital causes of azoospermia is present and also severe injury to testicles, which damages it.
Line of treatment- 3 steps   Ayureveda or Homoeopathic treatment to improve sperm count in azoospermia Improvement of sperm count to 10 to 15 motile sperm With just one motile sperm we can conduct Intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) AYURVEDA Many ayurveda medicines are good for azoospermia. Ayurveda medicines containing following content  Withania somnifera ,  Mucuna pruriens , Tinospora cordifolia , Holostemma ada-kodien , Curculigo orchioides , Hygrophilia spinosa, Piper longum , Kanmadabhasmam, Tribulus terrestris , Elettaria cardomomum , Asparagus racemoses , Ipomoea mauritiana , Centella asiatica  and Boerrhavia diffusa is effective to i ncrease the sperm count.HOMOEOPATHY: Many potentised medicines are used based on his mental as well as physical symptoms. Many medicines such as lycopodium, agnus castus, damiana, withania sominifera, natum mur etc has been very good for improving the sperm count.NOTE: BOTH AYURVEDIC AS WELL AS HOMOEOPATHIC TREATMENT SHOULD BE BASED ON CORRESPONDING PHYSICIANS PRESCRIPTION ONLY. Intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI): With ICSI, the eggs are retrieved the same procedure as in IVF. However, the eggs and the sperm are then fertilized in the laboratory, by direct injection of a single sperm into each egg. Three days later the resulting embryos are simply placed into mothers uterus with no surgery, just as in IVF. The fertilization rate per egg using ICSI is about 70% despite the sperm being terrible, the fertilization rate per infertile couple is over 99% if the wife has adequate eggs, and the pregnancy rate per treatment cycle is over 50%. If we can find just a few weak sperm in his otherwise sterile appearing ejaculate, it is more than enough to microsurgically inject these few sperm into his wife's eggs, fertilize them normally, and get her pregnant.
