The Waves of Pain that Depression Causes

Article Abstract by: karengandah

Original Author: Travis Knight
have witnessed hopelessness fall on a man’s house like a ton of
bricks. It almost squeezed the last ounce of joy
from his very soul. It
continued to squeeze him until his demons convinced him he did not
deserve to breathe. He stayed in his bed day after day knowing that
physical nourishment would only prolong his agony and prevent his
inevitable death. He asked himself if his pain was caused by his own
recklessness, or that of another, but at the time he felt so hopeless,
that it didn’t really matter. His sense of logic eluded him while
these demons all gathered to shame him to death.
He thought of many ways to relieve his pain, but there was a small
piece of sanity that remained. He held on to this little piece of hope
just long enough for his Sustainer to chase those clouds of doom away.
When he awakened from the intense pain, the spirit of Truth explained
to him, who, why, and what was behind it all. It was then he was
relieved he did not heed the advisement of those who’d rallied to
agonize him to death.
If you knew him from the past you would not recognize him today. I
remember him well, as this recreated spirit is now sharing his
nightmare with you.” Excerpt from our publication “Lines in the
Sand”
Depression: The act of depressing or the state of being depressed. Low spirits, feeling moody or blue;
Psychiatry), a lowering of vital powers, melancholy, especially;
psychopathic melancholy leading to mental disorder. (Funk &
Wagnall''s, New Comprehensive International Dictionary).
One fourth of all women have a major bout with depression at sometime
in their lives, but sometimes the symptoms are so masked in illness,
that they don''t realize that depression is causing the problem.
Family physician''s hear complaints of headaches, backaches, or the
blahs, and often patients get undiagnosed because they remain unaware
that there problem could be related to a mood disorder. (Woman''s
Encyclopedia of Health & Emotional Healing, Page 65).
It appears that addiction to alcohol and/or other drugs often masks an
underlying depression. There is much research to conclude there is a
link between addiction and depression. If left untreated, depression
can cause a downward spiral leading to severe health problems,
especially suicide.
Have you, too, begun to feel that your life it just not worth the hassle?
Do you feel like there is a cloud of pending doom hanging over your
head, causing you to make choices that are not in your best interest,
or just feel it does not matter any longer?
We have discovered possible causes and cures that I feel I must share with you.
Having been given the opportunity to work with the homeless population,
with alcohol and other drug abusers, I’ve had opportunity to see
first hand the signs and symptoms related to depression. Over these
last years I’ve witnessed a major increase in those effected by this
and other related illness.
I’ve further witnessed people who have taken synthetic drugs to
counteract this illness, and after a few weeks they do seem more in
control of their emotions, however soon after, I have begun to notice
that the spirit that once lived in their eyes seems to disappear.
In a world filled with uncertainty, sickness, death, relationships
crumbling, jobs being down sized, fathers and mothers leaving one
another to seek after their identities, it’s no wonder the world is
in such disarray.
Without going so much into the spiritual causes of this disarray that
is sweeping the land, one must take into consideration the hostility of
environment. Never before has man created so many non-organic
impurities.
Radio towers are admitting microwaves, micro wave ovens in our homes,
cell phones using micro wave technologies, chemicals are even being
used to control pests on our farm lands, and some even claim there are
factions of an underworld government spraying chemicals above our skies
known as “Chem-trails” to destroy our immune systems.
Why, it’s no wonder most of us are a mess!!!
We must have healthy foods to eat, clean water to drink and air not
filled with pollutants, but most of all, we need emotional support and
the power derived from positive thinking to help us combat this most
debilitating emotional illness called “depression.”
We hope you will now visit our website “Traditional Family
Resources” in order to harvest the vast amount of natural medications
we have discovered, learn the coping skills we have taught in groups,
but most of all, to take advantage of the freedom derived from the
power of positive thinking.
