This website is a outstanding reference to
cleaning methods and fixer uppers. Things you can do on your own without having a professional come in and pay tons of cash to for work you can do alone. I like to save money rather then hand money out especially if its something you can do yourself.
I have tried some of the methods they have suggested in many areas like on carpet cleaning, bathroom cleaning and etc. Some work and some don't it's one of those "trial and error" things.
Most stuff you can use around the house for a cleaning supplement like vinegar or baking soda. Vinegar may reak horribly but hey it works on most things, like some tough stains. And I bet you didn't know that
hand cleaner you use called "Fast Orange" which is available in walmart stores, hardware stores and your auto shops. It works great for stains, our home that we have has went through a few family member owners and about all of them has smoked and never thought about cleaning the walls.
Over the years that smoke pentrated deep into the paneling leaving a nasty yellow color. I have tried everything from grease lightning to other products nothing works as great as "fast orange." Yes grease lightning helped a small bit, but it still left behind the yellow coloring. Another product which I have found which is truly amazing and it's called "
Awesome." You can find "awesome" at any general dollar store and for a bottle of it, it costs just a buck and if you want the refill it costs about three bucks. Let me say this much it works also and its inexpensive. All of our walls in our home have been treated including doors that were caked with filith. Awesome is safe to use and it has a friendly aroma, one warning I have for you and thats NOT TO USE ON pretreated wood. Use it on panel walling and if your walls are painted spray a small spot that isnt visible to everyday and test it, your results will show immedialately. I personally had no problems, but however on the pretreated wood wasn't a good result. You can also use this on trimming. The results are amazing.
All you need is a clean old rag, spray "Awesome," and wipe. Rinse your rag and spray. Repeat over and over, you can also use a sponge. For "Fast Orange" use a old clean rag pour a small dab and rub the spot going in a "up" and "down" motion. Rinse rag and repeat.
For those nasty grease spots on floor (meaning under your stove or bath tub grime) use "Goo Gone" in the aresonal can. It's excellent on those caked on filmed spots and grime. A warning on this product VENTILATE your work area don't use in a enclosed area. The fumes are extremely strong and it will cause light headedness and strong headaches. ALWAYS wear protective handwear when using any chemical and or facial masks which can be bought in any drug store or family center. I say this because I too learned the hard way.
Safety Tip: Never mix chemicals together, they can cause more harm then good it can be fatal and can lead to permanant bodily damage

tips I would suggest you visit the website I have listed. I just named a few cleaning tips to help you along your way. Ones that I use on a day to day basis.
