In September, medical teams at 25 hospitals across the world undertook the largest study of its kind into
nde otherwise known
as "NEAR DEATH EXPERIENCE”. The main aim of
research was to study the truth in the so-called out-of-body experience reported by dying patients. Dr Penny Sartori of Morriston Hospital in Swansea, who has written the book called "THE NEAR DEATH EXPERIENCES OF HOSPITALIZED INTENSIVE CARE PATIENTS: A FIVE YEAR CLINICAL STUDY", has become leading expert in the research. The doctor Penny was caring a patient near death. The patient confessed that he wanted to die and died. The doctor was sad that she quit the job for she couldn't save the life of his patient. She attempted to search for a career, which could teach her about the death experience. But there was none. This made her study near death experience of the dying patients. According to Dr penny sartori following things were noted from
NDE of her dying patients:
• Most of NDE described death as a wonderful thing and not something to be afraid of. •Most of them described NDE as leaving their own body and looking down from above then moving through darkness towards a bright light. •Many reported watching whole of their flash before their eye in a matter of seconds •Many meet the others who have already died who told them that it is not their time and they have to come back. •Many saw religious figure or being of a light. The doctor wanted to investigate further into the NDE and wanted to know if it was Hallucination or some wishful thinking of dying patients or any drugs the patient had when dying should have produced the NDE effect or whether if low level of oxygen or high level of carbon dioxide produced such an effect.
MY OWN EXPERIENCE OF THE SO CALLED NDE OR COULD IT BE THE DRUG I HAVE TAKEN? I was hospitalized for high fever. They did all the check up and every thing was normal except eosinophils were very high about 70%. My doctors didn’t see that high eosinophils in their lifetime. But they couldn’t understand the cause of fever. They decided to give me Penicillin injection. As soon as they gave me the injection I felt that I am seeing the body from above me. I was not unconscious. I was aware of my father, mother all besides my bedside but I am seeing them from above not from my body. My father says that I screamed when I was in such a state. BUT WHAT I FELT WAS THAT I WAS SEEING MY FATHER, MOTHER AND MY BODY FROM ABOVE AND CANNOT BE DESCRIBED BY WORDS.
