This is a series of stories. The author, Gabriel Weston, writes about her experiences as a surgeon.
The book can be graphic at times. The author writes in such a way that the reader can understand it; whether or not they are a doctor or a nurse. Some stories are very sad. Other stories are very funny. The fourteen stories cover a variety of situations. One chapter
discusses sexuality. Another chapter discusses children. One gets the impression that a
surgeon has no time to their own.
