DISTANT (ABSENT ) HEALING

Article Abstract by: Sindhumol

Original Author: Sindhumol

The healing practised in the absence of patient
is known as distant or absent healing.  The patient''s self-healing power is enhanced by the healers employing prayers, meditation or visualization therapy.  The  divine healing forces are channeled to patient, activating their ability to heal themselves.   Usually the healing is practised upon the request of the patients.  Sometimes, the patients may not even know that they are being healed.  Usually healers regard personally not able to heal but they consider themselves as the channels of divine energy.  i.e
., as mediators, in healing process.  Through distant healing, any type of mental, physical or spiritual discomfort can be treated. Since the active participation of the patient is not essential, this method is particularly suitable for babies, young children, mentally retarded, very ill or unconscious people and even in the case of animals.
