My guess is that most of you people must be from the northern hemisphere (like me) and summers heading your way.Here are some ways to keep yourself healthy in the heat and enjoy it.Most of you people would be heading to the beach when you hear of summer.Hey,that''s not a bad idea,it''s great.Your skin needs some Vitamin D,doesn''t it.But just be careful.Make sure that when you''re in the beach,you put a sunscreen lotion all over your body (even if your covered by an umbrella).It''s great to be in a beach,but don''t spend too much time in the sun.For every 2 and a half hours you spend in the sun,make sure you stay in the shade for at least half an hour.Water!Make sure you don''t go through summer without much water.Drink around 8 glasses of water everyday.Also try to drink some juice or any fluid with has sugar (about 1 glass per day).Soft drinks like coke and pepsi aren''t recommended for the summer because they build up the gas inside your body which isn''t good especially in the heat.You might have read several articles in newspapers,websites or health books about drinking lots of water during summer and several people drink too much water thinking it''s good for the heat.Remember to get enough water but keep it under a limit.Too much water can cause indigestion of food and softening of body parts.
