Vedic rituals in which medicinal plants are involved, can help control atmospheric pollution. Experiments conducted at the Institute of Scientific Research on Vedas at Hyderabad in India, suggest that medicinal plants, flowers and precious stones used in rituals help control pollution thereby protecting the environment and improving the health of people. The use of medicinal plants like Tulsi, Jammi, Peepal and neem were very much effective. The auras of people who stood near neem and peepal trees were found to be enhanced . Moreover, the aura of the people became brighter, after walking some rounds around the neem tree. This is similar to a needle which gets magnetic properties after being rubbed against a strong magnet for several times. The aura of the humans gets improved by sitting in the shade of certain sacred trees. These trees are being worshipped by the people since ancient ages. Like trees, religious flowers like hibiscus, white calotropis etc. also possess beneficial auras. Precious stones like diamond, emerald etc. have auras which influence the persons who wear them.
