According to naturopathy , the way of life is very important. A clean life,free from addiction, fresh air, balanced food and moderate exercise will help one stay healthy. Mental tension should be avoided as far as possible.Proper sleep and occasional fast will help in maintaining a disease free life.

Auto suggestion and self hypnosis are based on the theory that thinking is a vital factor in maintaining sound health.Anger, frustration, envy,jealousy and violent reactions are harmful.When a person is angry, too much adrenal is released into the blood stream and as a consequence blood pressure increases.Keep smiling and remain calm even in adverse circumstances.

Food
A major part of food should contain fruits and vegetables.Cereals should be germinated before eating.

Water
Ensure that water is clean and free from contamination. Drink water early in the morning,one hour before meals and two to three hours after meals.

Air
Keep the living room and bed room well ventilated so that fresh air is available.Breathe deeply and take exercises regularly.

Sunlight
Sun bath is an important tool of the naturopath.
