White water and tea is a beverage that deserves encouraged and preserved for the sake of health of human organs, including other living creatures. Water is most needed fluids to hydrate the body. But new research also shows that tea has properties similar hydration with water.

Recent research conducted in the UK has found that drinking tea from 4 to 6 glasses per day was tantamount to drink 1.5 liters of water.

Proper hydration in the body is essential. Water is required to play a function in the brain, kidneys and heart. Proper hydration helps maintain lubrication of joints and muscles. Water can even help you lose weight with suppress appetite and accelerate metabolism.

Research has shown that tea does not cause dehydration (water shortage), but in fact have the hydration properties similar to water.

In this study, researchers asked 21 men average age 36 years to consume the tea. Over the past 12 hours, participants were asked to drink 240 ml of tea with 20 ml of semi-skimmed milk and no sugar with the boiling water.

In similar tests, pastisipan asked to repeat drink 6 cups of tea, or about 1.5 of water.

To check the level of hydration, blood samples were taken before the consumption of beverages and also periodically.

Based on these results obtained reveal that the theory that drinking tea can increase the risk of dehydration in a person because it contains caffeine is not true.

A nutritionist at the Tea Advisory Panel found that 6 cups of tea and 1.5 liters of water provides the same hydration, as reported by Medindia.

This research has been published in the British Journal of Nutrition.

The benefits of tea not only for merehidrasi, but also protects the body against some diseases such as heart disease and cancer. Experts believe that the antioxidant flavonoid compounds that became the main ingredients of tea can improve health.
