Have you ever felt your
body unhealthy? Not
only the body, but also
feeling uncomfortable.
Actually, your body is
not sick, but no desire to
do something. Do not
be quick to think that
you are suffering from
an illness. Maybe your
body just a shortage of
one color only.
Since the days of ancient
Egypt, color was
believed to have a major
influence on the body
(physical, emotional, and
mental) humans. Color
also affects the aura of
the body so that the
body of excess or
deficiency of any of the
colors there will be an
imbalance of the body
that will ultimately affect
mood and health.
According to a
practitioner of color
therapy, Gitta S van
Engelen, color does
have the power to the
body. Color is not a
cure, but color can help
in the healing process of
a disease through a
wave or vibration. In the
book ''Color Therapy,
Influence and Power of
Color in the Life'' is
mentioned that color
therapy is the healing of
a disease by applying the
appropriate color for
healing in a more
centralized than the sun.
Color affects all people,
whatever the
circumstances.
Therefore, color
therapy can also be
applied to children who
have special needs, such
as Down syndrome,
autism, dyslexia, children
with below normal
intelligence, children
with learning difficulties,
and so on.
In terms of determining
the color of what is
needed is best done by a
color therapist.
However, one can
estimate the required
color alone. That should
keep in mind, the body
has seven chakras are
strongly affected by
color.
The red color associated
with the base chakra that
affect the vitality,
strength, awareness, and
sexuality.
Orange color associated
with the spleen chakra
that regulate circulation
and metabolism. The
orange color is also
associated with fun and
excitement.
Yellow color associated
with the solar plexus
chakra which affects
intellectual and decision-
making. The color
yellow can also
stimulate concentration.
The green color
associated with the heart
chakra. Green is a
healing color because
green energy balance
and stabilize the body.
The blue color
associated with the
throat chakra. The blue
color is very soothing
and very good for
people with insomnia,
lower back pain,
migraines, and asthma.
The color purple is the
color of the crown
chakra and is associated
with the energy of the
highest functions of
mind. Purple color helps
increase confidence,
reduce the feeling of
helplessness, as well as
treating mental and
nervous disorders.
The black color is often
used to suppress
appetite. So if you want
to lose weight, use black
table cloths for your
kitchen table.
Color therapy is very
diverse ways. Able to
use a small room with
colored lights. In that
room you can lie down
with ease while listening
to appropriate music. If
the size of the room 2 x
3 meter, simply use the
lamp sizes 5 to 15 watts.
But if the room is
greater then use a lamp
with a greater wattage.
Another way is to hold
the object with the color
we need, including by
wearing clothes with
colors that are needed.
Although not as fast as
light, but the waves that
exist on the shirt color
can propagate through
the skin. So if you want
to feel daring, use a red
shirt. If you want to face
interviews will wear blue
clothes, because the
blue can smooth the
communication. While
the black color can
boost your confidence.
