mouth when it comes to healthy being largely because only a few of them actually had any
dental problem until a later part of their lives.Civilization saw the
end to this as refined carbohydrates became a major part of diet for growing
children and, in particular,young adults. This trend marked the end of the silent era and enriched dentists! About 25 percent of children in civilized
countries have at one time or the other visited a dentist in which many of them dreaded. The developing countries are witnessing this bumper harvest of extraction of their
teeth because they either present late for treatment or cannot afford conservative procedures.Dental awareness and education should be encouraged to preserve teeth till death. The mouth being "a window" to the body, is an essential part of well-being of the entire body....you can ask someone who has had a tooth-ache!
