Make-up to look younger

MsoNormal">

margin: 0in 0in 0pt;" class=" MsoNormal">7 Tricks to wipe out age.

1.Use a light foundation, it doesn’t settle in lines.  Light foundations or cream to powder formulation work better for mature skin.  They don’t settle in lines and cover the imperfections foundations with added SPF and moisturizers are also suitable as are those with added luminescence.  Revlon skin lights and YSL Radiant Touch can be god options.

2.      Conceal to reveal. Use a concealer, a shade lighter than your skin tone, to down play the fine lines.  Clanel vitaliniere is a fantastic product.  It really makes the wrinkles invisible and adds the right amount of moisture to an already dry skin.

3.      Avoid using powder.  Heavy powders add texture, make the skin look dry and accentuate lines.  The way out is to use translucent powders specifically designed for mature skin, Avoid reapplying throughout the day because layers of powder settle in the lines.  Mineral powder is found to be more effective, they don’t exaggerate wrinkles.

4.      Pick a cream blush.  Mature woman often shy away from using blushes because they feel it won’t suit them.  With age the cheeks take on a hollow look and blush can skillfully camouflage it.  The trick is not to contour the hollow, it will accentuate them.  So use a cream blush.  For a youthful glow use a cheek stain or cream blush in a pink, rosy or peachy colour.

5.      Opt for lighter eye make-up.  With age the tissues around the eyes begin to sag.  This can make the eyes look small and droopy.  Dark, heavy make-up can make your eyes look even smaller.  Avoid liquid liners as they look cakey on loose skin.  A pencil liner will work much better.  Or you can apply a light coloured shadow with an angled make-up brush even softer frame around the eye.  Switch from black liners to brown, dark greys and dark blues.  Steer clear of frosted or metallic shades.

6.      Go for light lip colours.  Lips tend to thin with age.  If you use dark lipstick on them, it makes them look even thinner.  Lighter lip colours make the lip look plumper.  Avoid glossy lipstick as they tend to bleed.  Instead go for a dewy moisturizing lipstick.

7.      Get arched brows, they give a natural ‘lift’ to the face.  Try developing arched brows, they give you a natural face lift.  If you are battling a graying eyebrow, use a brown eye pencil and lightly touch up the brow hair.  Ageing skin loses elasticity and thins which can make you look tired and allow the blood vessels to show through.  Use a concealer to lighten dark circles and provide an overall glow

Apart from these steps, follow these habits to stay younger: wear sunscreens everyday, drink plenty of water, get enough sleep, exercise and say no to drinks and smoking,  After the age of thirty, some of the connective tissue in our skin starts breaking down, oil production slows down and wrinkles develop.  But wrinkles are also caused by factors that you can control.  Smoking is one culprit, it slows down circulation, so skin doesn’t get as much oxygen.  The sun’s ultraviolet rays also do direct damage to the skin’s connective fibres.  They promote the generation of the rogue, oxygen molecule called free radicals, which can damage cell membranes.
