Moreover, cardiovascular risks were 60 to 70 percent higher among men and women who smoked as compared to non-smokers, Dr.Jha’s team

10 HELPFUL TIPS FOR QUIT TO SMOKING

As an action plan for giving up’ try these helpful steps:

Fix a date and stick to it.

Keep busy to help take your mind off cigarettes.

Drink plenty of water or fruit juice.

Get active. Exercise helps you relax and can boost morale.

Think positively. Irritability, the urge to smoke and poor concentration are common but usually disappear after a couple of weeks.

Change your routine. Avoid the shop where you buy cigarettes of the smoky pub or restaurant.

Don’t use a crisis-or good news-as an excuse for “just one.”

Treat yourself. Use the money you are saving to buy something special.

Watch what you eat. Snack on fruit, raw vegetables, or sugar-free gum or sweets, not fatty foods.

Take one day at a time. Each day without a cigarette is good news for your health, your family and your finance.

Answer  :    find a solid reason to leave smoking. it should be so solid that u dnt even dare to thnk about it ever again.. do it for somebody some one specail. all it needs is a reason which is strong enough dat breaking it would hurt somebody and inturn hurt you..
