Some children with certain birth defects are at increased risk or a mother who has a history of stillbirth usually have a high risk of brain cancer. The most common malignant cancer found in children is Rhabdomyosarcoma.

Based on the research, 4,000 American children diagnosed of tumor central nervous system. The reason, partly because of genetic syndromes are inherited his parents or his grandfather, but less known factors why children can not develop completely snapped. However, predicted that genetic factors are the biggest factors of birth defects or infant children die at birth.

Defects in the brain and spinal cord at birth, called Neural Tube Defects (NTD). One of the most common form is when the spine does not close completely in the first month of pregnancy, resulting in nerve damage and paralysis of the legs. And dangers of birth defects of children are at increased risk of certain tumors.

The results of an intensive University and Lucile Packard Children's Hospital in Palo Alto , Calif. , they were nearly four times more likely to suffer from primitive neuroectodermal tumors compared to normal children. Similarly, the risk of germ cell tumors, are rare form of brain tumor found in children.

The study also found increased risk of tumors in children whose mothers have at least two fetal deaths in previous pregnancies - which means the fetus died after 20 weeks of pregnancy, commonly known as a stillbirth (stillbirth)

These children were three times more likely to develop brain tumors and Spinal Tumor. Because birth defects or fetal death during pregnancy often involves some type of genetic abnormality, it may be that which explains the higher cancer risk. Genetics lets play a bigger role in central nervous system cancers than previously believed

Miscarriage is not associated with cancer risk in children so that diagnosis of genetic abnormalities that cause the death of the fetus early in pregnancy. However, if successfully delivered, will likely be born deformed, and it turns out higher risk for cancer.

From other studies have shown, the heart and brain defects may be strongly associated with childhood cancer. So that Parents who have children birth defects, should know that there is still a risk of central nervous system cancers in children as a teenager. And
At the same time, pediatricians should be aware that there may be a little higher than that of tumors in certain children.

Brain tumor symptoms may be vague and vary from child to child. But some possible signs include morning headaches, mental changes such as memory and concentration problems, unusual drowsiness, changes in vision, hearing or speech abnormalities, and problems of balance or coordination body.
