Gene are the basic unit of
inheritance consisting of a sequence of DNA that occupies a specific position on a chromosome
. This position is called Locus .The specific character of parent are to the offspring through gene . The alternative form of same gene are called Allel . Total population of gene at any one time is called Gene Pool . Thus the frequency of allel in the gene pool pf this population 800/1000 =0.8=80 PERCENT .
