Discoverying a efective
vacine to HIV is highly complicated due to the fact that it integrates the
cells of the
infected with its own genetic code. It''s hard for scientists predict any kind of results. Some imunologic responses to
teh vacine were very positive and the virus, in some animals, were even completly removed from the bodies. But the study was too small with only were very few animals. The
results still need to be confirmed. At the moment the main goal of teh scietists is to keep the
virus from entering the cells. That is how the vacine against the HIV should work, once it''s based on the antibody action. Antibodies try to stop the infection as it starts and not after the virus has already infected the cell. There also another way to contain AIDS: adaptading the human behavior to a perfect world where there isn''t prostitution, sexual prosmisciousity, 100% of people using condomns during sex and everybody regulary doing tests to guarantee they are not infected. It''s obvious that thats is improbable demostrating the need for teh vacine, unfortunally we won''t win the war against HIV any other way.
