Sweeteners and mono sodium glutamate (MSG)a flavor enhancer are linked to head aches,dazziness and seizure in children.
breakfast cereals marketed for children are of very low nutritional value,they have more sugar,salt,calories and less in protein and fiber as compared to adult cereals.
To control what goes into your child body ,you need to monitor and control what goes into your kitchen.look at labels and what additives does your food contain.is it coated with sugar?Is multi-colored?or does it look natural?tis can help you identify what is best for your child.
Natural coloring and flavors can be done for example by adding fresh berries or other fresh chopped fruits and vegetables in their food and for breakfast cereals use the adult ones as they are more nutritious.
