Broccoli is green vegetable which has lot of health benefits. Like cabbage it contains various nutritive elements necessary for healthy functioning of body.

Broccoli contains good amount of vitamin A necessary for healthy functioning of various tissues of eyes. It contains good amount of beta carotene which is very good for eye health. It also contain good amount of calcium, magnesium, copper and zinc that is containing all the important minerals at the one place in broccoli.

Broccoli contains good amount of antioxidants which help in preventing various infectious diseases. It also helps in preventing hepatitis and kidney dysfunction. It also helps in treating tumors, cancer and various pathological diseases.

Broccoli contains good amount of vitamin C which help not only in increasing our body immunity but also help in detoxifying our body. Broccoli contains good amount of fiber which is very good for preventing constipation and also for improving digestion and preventing indigestion.

As broccoli contains no cholesterol and fat therefore, is a good food option to lose weight early and healthy way. As it contains good amount of iron, therefore, is very good for anemic patients.
