People drink tea at morning only to wake up, others have it only due to its delicious taste, and some drink it because of its health benefits.studies have suggested that tea protects your body; gastric acidity, esophageal, skin, ovarian cancer and lower your cholesterol level, and reduce the risk of heart conditions and clots, and fights bacteria as it works as sterilize. There is no food has the benefits that you find a cup of tea has.

How is that?

Tea got high level of Polyphenols. Polyphenols keeps your cells and tissues healthy and fights diseases. Tea is made from camellia sinensis leaves, regardless of the color of the tea, whether you drink the green, white, black or red tea all contain polyphenols. Each tea type has a different level of polyphenols, depending on how processed they are, the more the tea processed the less polyphenols it has, but they all still work perfectly good as antioxidants.

Though polyphenol is found in fruits and vegetables and some nuts, the quantity is not high or enough to energize your body and strengthen your immunity system.

Tea protects you from heart conditions. High cholesterol level can destroy your arteries by the bad fats. These fats will build up and irritates your arteries. Polyphenol stop the fats from hurting your arteries and it also prevent the clots from forming, so it keep your blood pressure low and keeps the cholesterol also down.

Tea treats many aches and pains such as headache, stomach cramps, hurt burn and sore throat.

Polyphenol is also an antioxidant. Antioxidants fight the free radicals from hurting your body and that’s strengthens your immunity system.


Tea and coffee:

Adding to the benefits of the tea, it contains few caffeine than coffee; one cup of tea has average 39 mg of caffeine, and one cup of coffee 87 mg of caffeine.

Tea types

Green tea steamed tea leaves and it is less processed than the other tea types, while Black tea is made from fermented tea leaves. It has the highest level of caffeine but still it protects you from lung cancer and strokes.

How many cups of tea your body needs daily? studies says that you need to drink 4 cups of tea daily, and other studies says that you need to drink 5 cups of tea in order to optimize your body defense mechanisms.

While herbs and alternative medicine have been around for the last 20 years or so, tea has been used as treatment for many diseases and disorders for hundreds and hundreds of years.

Buy the brand names only since they prepare the tea from the finest extracts. It does not matter if you drink it hot or cold as both has different good effects; the cold tea is refreshing especially when the weather is hot, and hot tea has a soothing effect.
