Contacts are a wonderful invention for those who have poor eyesight and want to have
another option other than lasses, but today the colored contact lenses are more of a fashionable accessory. These lenses are a step further than makeup. Color contacts can be worn by most people with healthy eyes, whether or not they have any vision problems.
Make sure that you give first preference to the comfort of the lens than the color. It is always advisable to wear eyeglasses while traveling. This would prevent dust article entering your eyes.
Buy disposable contact lenses if you can afford it. They're a no-fuss way of enjoying non-prescription lenses. You can buy a variety of colors to match your mood or outfit. Sometimes discounts are also available on larger purchases.
When you wear soft eye contact lenses, follow the rules for proper lens care. If you ignore them, you could be facing various eye infections. For instance, swimming with your contacts, creates a space for dangerous germs to enter your eyes. These germs are present in the swimming pools, in spite to the pools been regularly treated with chlorine. This damages the cornea, of the eye.
If you wear eye contact lenses, follow proper hygiene. This will prevent the eyes from infections. Some precautions for contact lens are:- Wash your hands with soap and water. Make sure they're dry before you handle eye contact lenses, Do not rinse eye contact lenses with tap water, which can contain harmful organisms, Read and carefully follow eye contact lens solution instructions, This will reduce the number of germs on the lens, Fill eye contact lens cases with fresh solution from the bottle each time you clean your lenses. Never reuse old solution. Do not transfer eye contact lens solution from original containers to anything other than storage cases. Replace lens cases at least every three months.
While removing contact lenses, place the lens in the center of your palm and place a few drops of cleanser or solution onto it. Place the contact in your lens case and fill the individual holders with the contact solution and soak it overnight.
If you face any problems like Pain, Redness, Blurred vision, Sensitivity to light, Excessive tearing, a white patch on cornea, burning, itching, it is advisable to remove your eye contact lenses. Contact an eye doctor right away if your symptoms don't go away.
