Here are doênças that more can confuse.
CARDIOPATIA: The doênça coronary - main
cause of infarction - is more difficult to be
diagnosed in women, mainly because the
symptoms are different from men:
fatigue no apparent reason, pressure on the abdomen or just below the chest (which can be confused with heartburn) , chronic fatigue or anxiety.
PULMONAR OBSTRUTIVA CRÔNICA DISEASE (COPD): comprises bronchitis and emphysema. The COPD is often misdiagnosed and treated as asthma. An estimated 8 million Brazilians have COPD, but only 20% are diagnosed.
HEPATITE C: It is the leading cause of
liver transplants, and the most common cause of deaths from liver problems. In Brazil, 90% of those infected do not know they have the virus.
APNÉIA OF SLEEP: If you ronca, or if you do not understand why they feel tired of day, you may have obstructive apnea of sono.A doênça is related to hypertension, which progresses to heart failure, and early signs of atherosclerosis, with risk of spill and death.

DISEASE CELÍACA: No adult, it takes up to 20 years to be diagnosed. It is an auto-immune doênça, genetics, in which patients are unable to digest the gluten. An estimated 300 thousand Brazilians have the doênça without knowing.
OF LYME DISEASE: Transmitted by tick, the infection gets into the bloodstream and cause symptoms (chills, fever, pain in the body) that many doctors descartam as flu. It can result in arthritis and nerve problems.
HIPOTIREOIDISMO: A survey revealed that almost 70% of women with hypothyroidism knowledge the diagnosis. The doênça affects more women because the symptoms are confused with the signs of ageing: dry skin, poor memory, anemia and hair loss.
LÚPUS: This doênça auto-immune, found primarily among women, can cause symptoms such as fatigue, pain or swelling of the joints and fever. More than half of patients have consulted several doctors said before receiving the diagnosis.
