Cardiovascular system include heart, lungs and blood vessels called arteries and veins. This is the system that carries food and oxygen in the blood throughout the body cells. The system is also carrying the waste effluent from the cells to be thrown out of the body.

In the cardiovascular system of the blood can only flow in one direction. One-way vessels include arteries and arterioles, which is carrying oxygen-rich blood and nutrients from the heart to body cells, venules and veins carry blood and littered with discarded body cells back to the heart.

In between these two types of vessels were no more vessels called capillaries arrives very subtle, finer than a strand of hair. Microscopic capillaries that became a liaison between the arteries and veins of the most subtle. Through the capillary walls are very thin these nutrients and oxygen in the blood entering the body's cells in the surrounding areas. Likewise, waste material of body cells through the capillaries, so that blood can carry the waste to the kidneys, liver, and lungs.

Blood was taken in and out of the heart through two main vessels, each of which is known as the superior vena cava and inferior vena cava. Superior vena cava vessels that drain blood from the upper body into the right atrium. While the inferior vena cava are the vessels that carry blood from the lower body to the right atrium.

Although his heart pump blood, but he himself does not automatically receive enough nutrients from the blood it pumps it. For that koronerlah artery that provides blood for the heart. There are two coronary arteries, the left coronary artery and right coronary artery is forked. Both of these arteries originate from the main artery, the aorta. Coronary arteries are the first vessels to receive oxygen-rich blood that is still directly out of the left ventricle. Both arteries that have a lot of these small branches around the top and side of the heart, and supplying oxygen-rich blood and nutrients to the heart.

Coronary vessels with a diameter of about 3-4 mm across the surface of the heart, and meet in the back, such as forming a circle. When the first experts to see the ancient pattern of blood vessels, they look like a crown so they call it in Latin, which until now used, coronary or coronary, which means crown.

In general, the coronary artery together with other blood vessels. Only difference, blood can enter into the heart muscle through the coronary vessels only, that is when the muscles are relaxed between the two pulses.
