After conducting a few research I came to know that “Deep Throat” is the best porn
movie from America which was made in 1972, written and
directed by Gerard Damiano,
starring Linda Lovelace (the pseudonym of Linda Susan Boreman).
The synopsis of the movie: A sexually frustrated woman (Linda Lovelace) asking for some advice from her friend Helen (Dolly Sharp) after a sex party did not help her with her problem. Helen suggested Linda to see a doctor (Harry Reems).
Linda Lovelace’s testimony: In her first-two biographies, Linda Lovelace mentioned that her experience in making this porn movie was very liberating. However, in her third and fourth biography (written after she met Andrea Dworkin), she changed her opinion and said that she was forced to star in that movie by her husband at that time, Chuck Traynor.
The law investigations against this movie: Across America, this movie was accused as spreading pornography. Actor Harry Reems was convicted for spreading the pornography outside of the state’s border.
The
sequels: The Deep Throat II (1974) was written and directed by Joseph W. Sarno, starring Linda Lovelace and Harry Reems. The story was about a few Russians who wants to kidnap Linda to find out her secrets. The movie was made into the hardcore and R movie type because the producing company, Arrow was under the FBI investigation. However, the hardcore version was stolen from the laboratory and the R version did not make a hit in the market. Deep Throat II (1987) and the following sequels of the movie enlisted different actors and have no relations to the first movie. Deep Throat 3 (1989) starring Peter North. Deep Throat 4 (1990), 5 (1991) and 6 (1992) was directed by Ron Jeremy.
A documentary film titled Inside Deep Throat (2005) is featuring a story on how this movie (Deep Throat) was made and its impact towards the American’s culture.
