Liam Neeson returns as the undefeatable hero of justice or something like that. This is a kind of movie where you can
just lay back and relax. It has a very simple plot, kidnapped
daughter, father ex-CIA, special forces and you can
imagine the rest. But the only difference is in my opinion is the acting of Liam Neeson which was precisely what I would imagine a great soldier, one that has no limits, one who will stop at nothing even if that means killing an innocent woman. Neeson's character differs from o so many before him in that detail, which is actually very important. Usually this types of characters had mercy but Bryan (Neeson) has shown us the true face of cruelty for a good cause. Although the end is evident from the beginning it is not the final outcome that is of great interest rather than the path with which he (Bryan) will go to save his daughter. I would dare to say this is one of the best movies in 2009 yet but it surely won't be until the end of the year. Nevertheless time spent watching this movie is time good spent of course unless you have anything better to do.
