Pagal. That’s an interesting word. It means “mad” in hindi. Watch this film and you’ll probably understand this term better.
Afterall, to my mind, it’s sheer idiocy to watch a film that loudly proclaims it’s own lack of logic.
Infact beginning from this film, we have Shah rukh Kahn and his villainous avatar taking shape, which incidentally he always passes it off as “cool” behavior. Disgusting really. The derogatory manner in which
Karishma Kapoor’s character gets treated, or for that matter even
Madhuri’s, is pathetic to say the least.
You can watch this film for it’s sleek dance moves, pretty sets and snazzy costumes. But not for Shahrukh’s acting. Correction, Hamming!
