Sunday
And this film will make you scratch your head. And then scratch some
more. Don’t get me wrong, the story line is unique. But then again, so is
everything else. The music for example. What the music director was trying to
do, I leave you to figure out, as of now I’ll concern myself with the story.
Truly, one has to give it to the south Indian script writers for coming
up with some genuinely original
screenplays. ‘Sunday’, tells us of how one day goes missing in the life of a
young girl and the subsequent mayhem and confusion that follows. Ayesha Takia
and her smile do a fine job in the film, though the same can’t be said about
Ajay Devgun and his absentee smile. Arshad Warsi, it seems was born to be a
side kick while Irfan Pathan delivers some absolutely ribtickling lines. Watch
Sunday. It is the kind of film, simply made for a lazy Sunday!
