Palestinian alienation" is considered one of the most important t v series presented on t v arab screens not just for the
importance and the holiness of the case which is tackling the bitter
palestinian conflict with the British occupation and then with the zionestic occupation but for the distinctive way in which the director and the whole cast has introduced this work.You feel while you watch the series as if you are seeing the struggle of
palestinians embodied before your eyes during the British ocuppation and how they defeated them and then their calamity with the zionestic occupation and later how they had been evacuated from their lands and homes and turning them to a group of refugees living under the harshest dehumanitarian circumstances rejected from everybody even from other setteled palestinians.The director has succeeded in portraying all this through the family of the leader Abusalh who joined the rebels to face theBritish occupation;then his postion has rised becoming the leader of his group and raising his family along with him as the family was living in poverty and humiliation.Through the stream of the series Abusalh seeks to educate his youngest brother Ali in order to improve his future but the jewish occupation turns every thing upside down to the family and Abusalh joines once again the palestinian resistance but this time against the jewish occupation and his brother Hasan joines the resistance too but he is destined to martyrdom after losing every hope in this life as he couldnot finish his studying and he has lost the girl he loves too so he prefers to choose martyrdom as the honorable end of his life.Then comes the scene of the evacuation of the family from their homes as they walk out of their home under concentrated bombard but the mother insists on locking the door with the key which is considerd as the symbol of the return of palestinians to their lands later on.After that we see the plight of the family as they are trying to adopt with the new situation as refugees and here the director manages to depict the conditions and the difficulities which confront them to secure food and safe place to live in to keep their lives and their childern lives too.As they live in tents which can not stand bad weather and the rain and this happened with the other brother Msaoud losing his son under heavy rain so he desides to travel to Kwait illegaly accomponyed by two friends but one of them dies during crossing the desert and this reminds us with this crime has been committed to this nation as they did not find any way to live with dignity anywhere in this world.Later Masoud''s conditions got better and setteled down in Kwait and he tends to help his family surely inside the camps.The other brother Ali finished his education in USA then he came back and worked and married in Jordon but the rest of the family remained inside the camp with the hope whether to return to their homes or to live properly any where else.Thereis too rushdy the son of Abusalh''s sister who is seperated from his mother as he was young during the war and lives with a hope to see his mother who is living in Isreal ;then he sees her fleeting into Isreal for only one time.Later he desides that he has to fight zionests and he replaces the education with striving.The series ends with this scene when Rushdy carries the gun refering to that the only way which palestnians will adopt to rgain their lands and their dignit as well..
