Had heard this movie being praised by everyone of the earlier generation. Was supposed to be "culturally, historically, or
aesthetically significant". (It had won 7 oscars) So I got the DVD this weekend and settled down for a lazy afternoon in front of the comp , but felt thoroughly let down by the end of it.
The movie begins well but after 20 minutes your mind will start wandering. The movie just isnt fast anough or interesting enough to spend 2 hrs 45 mins on . Thats my verdict , but you decide for yourself.
