Around midnight two friends, Mel (Peyton List) an Jules (Cameron Goodman), return to L.A. from a weekend away in Mexico –
one last singles trip for the best friends before Mel ties the knot. It looks like Mel isn´t a strong traveler and suffers from a bout of motion sickness. On top of that the
airline has lost her luggage and the two unfortunate wommen find themselves stranded outside the terminal with a couple of frat boys who are trying to pick them up – assuming that girls who spend their vacation south of the border alone have to be sluts. And yes, it is raining. When the airline personnel finally informs Mel that the last flight has arrived without her luggage, the friends give up and head off, hoping to find some kind of transportation home. They decide to take one
shuttle over another because the driver (Tony Curran) offers them a special discount for the ride – the guys jump on the bus with them.
What they don´t count on is that as soon as they are inside this shuttle, the four youngsters and another passenger, a very nervous accountant, are in for the most terrifying ride of their by now very short lives.
