Shiney has been crying for two days
It is beyond the imagination of common peace loving people why the affluent members
of the society, who have everything, go for a heinous crime like rape. They are educated, wealthy, established, and have fan followers, who try to imitate them in life.
Shiney Ahuja’s case is one such incident, and under
investigation. It would be improper to make him guilty until the verdict comes from the court.
Shiney Ahuja is in judicial custody up to 2nd July, and he has been lodged in a small cell in the Andheri Police station. Police sources say that the actor is visibly upset and crying incessantly for the last two days.
He was arrested for an alleged rape of his teen-age maidservant in his apartment in Versova. The victim herself complained to the police station about the incident. Initial investigation reveals that the girl has been raped, and signs of violence are there in the act.
Forensic experts collected DNA samples from both the alleged victim and the culprit, and sent those for thorough testing, police informed. The police say that she is 17/18 as per the general physical examination, which is a minor age in Indian standard, and they are thinking to send her for dental and bone examination for the determination of correct age. The age factor is important in running the case against the culprit.
Niket Kaushik, the deputy commissioner of police (Zone VI) informed that the initial investigation report matches with the statements of the victim in the F I R (First Information Report).
The victim is a resident of Vasai suburb, who commuted daily to Shiney’s house for household work.
