A film that you could easily watch three times in a row. With excellent perfomances from both
Emma Roberts and
Alex Pettyfer
and some great on-screen chemistry the movie is both convincing and quite gripping.
It shows the journey of Poppy Moore (played by Roberts) from a spoilt LA teenager to a much more mature young lady who has values and is no longer superficial.
At first Moore hates both the boarding school and her fello pupils. All she wants is her BFF, boyfriend and malibu therapist. But her dorm-mates warm to her and decide to try and help her out of their.
Poppy starts to enjoy her time there and to actually like both her group of girl mates and her new romantic interest, Freddie. However the head girl of the school dislikes Poppy intensely and so causes havoc.
With a brilliant performance by Natasha Richardson as the headmistress. She is a role model to Poppy and has a calm serenity whilst maintaining discipline in the school.
This film is definitely worth seeing, appealing to a wide demographic. You won't be disappointed.
