The Holidays. Two women, played by actress Cameron Diaz and Kate
Winslet. They were having bad luck,
in their own town. So they had decided to move to another place to relax their mind. And that aim was come true after seeing a website for home exchange.
Cameron right away went to another country, to a suburb area. And Kate went to replace Cameron, in Cameron's cozy mansion. One was in the big city, one was far from the crowds. And in their new place, there were new love.
For Cameron, she was happy to find a role played by Jude Law. Kate as Jude's sibling sister. And Jude was got into Kate's house, in the effect after drank the booze, and thought would find only Kate. But he saw no Kate there, on the contrary found Cameron. He and Cameron then fell in love. Cameron's problem actually she had dumped her ex-boyfriend, but for an unacceptable reason. Her ex-boyfriend cheated with another woman. Met Jude, and could receive the reality that he has three daughters, a widower.
Meanwhile Kate was just exploited by her boy friend. She had been used, but her boyfriend won't admit her as his girlfriend. He only used Kate's writing ability since they were working in an office which needs a high writing skill. Even recently, he pronounced his engagement with the woman Kate thought was her. Kate's heart was quite destroyed. She cried day and night. Till found the same website at the same time with Cameron. She never met Cameron before almost the end of the movie. She went to Cameron's big house, and Cameron to her small hut.
Kate found a new boyfriend who always been cheated by his girlfriend. He is Cameron's working partner. Cameron works as a movie trailer maker. She was also met an old man who had no guts to attend his own award event.
One day, Cameron should go back to her country, America. But she felt hard to leave Jude. When she came back, she saw Jude was crying. This is a cheerful movie, with fresh conversation and long talks. If i have to choose, this is the best romance movie for years till now.
Knocked Up. From Judd Apatow (40 Year Old Virgin). Win an award for comedy.
A silly mistake came from one night, a succeed woman drunk at the bar to celebrate something with her married sister. A call from her husband made her sister went home first. That drunk woman met a man, chatted, ended up on the bed. On the following morning, woke up, that man was gone, and they didn't remember a thing.
Later on, she had to fight her own prestige to ask an accountability of a stranger man. She was pregnant and didn't know who was 'the dad.' Till she remembered an unemployed guy was drunk with her at the bar till late at night about two weeks ago.
The guy was rough in flinging the jokes with his pals. All guys in that movie was depicted rough in words and obnoxious. They talked dirty, in the very very dirty gestures. The spectators will knit their eyebrow for seeing their outrageous acts. And the young viewers of the DVD would probably directly leave their seats to go back to the bathroom and would never come back.
Month to month they saw the fetus's development, went to the obstetrician together. Felt happy about it. Then the love seed bloomed and butted in between them two. They fell in love though they were never had. In that new love, there are obstacles. Incompatibility of their characters. But they went through it. And after it the baby was ready to be born. They got a baby girl and kept it.
There were romance that so sweet, after neck and neck for the fetus to be born safely.
